Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its team at the Guthrie Owego 5th Avenue Primary Care clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care
- Conduct thorough initial and follow-up patient assessments to provide high-quality care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary.
- Provide patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and provide updates.
- Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
