Position Overview:
This role is crucial for the effective operation of our retail outlets. Retail Sales Associates engage with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions. Associates are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the high standards of product presentation and store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Assist customers both in-store and via phone by assessing their needs and recommending relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays effectively.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about available products and options.
  • Adhere to inventory management procedures.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to tint paint according to customer color requests, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is beneficial.
