Key Responsibilities

The role of the Real Estate Investment Analyst is characterized by a blend of autonomy and support, allowing the analyst to develop expertise in real estate finance, market research, and investment analysis. The position entails both office-based and fieldwork, presenting new challenges and opportunities as the analyst expands their knowledge base. This role is ideally suited for a motivated individual who thrives on problem-solving and maintains a focus on both intricate details and overarching objectives.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is essential unless the candidate has a minimum of one year of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Experience with multifamily properties is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate should be willing to pursue their Certified General Appraisal license during their tenure with BBG and achieve this designation promptly.
  • Strong quantitative abilities with some familiarity in analyzing real estate valuation models.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental real estate principles and valuation methodologies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as the role evolves.
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise and ArcGIS or similar web-based mapping tools is a plus.
