Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Epidemiologist to join our team at International SOS Government Medical Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive epidemiological studies to analyze patterns, causes, and effects of diseases within populations.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health-related data using advanced statistical software and methodologies.
  • Utilize data management tools such as SQL and Tableau to organize, store, and analyze data for research purposes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and public health officials on projects aimed at improving public health outcomes.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies for disease prevention, control, and health promotion.
  • Employ Geographic Information System (GIS) software to perform spatial analysis and map disease distribution in epidemiological studies.
  • Prepare detailed reports, publications, and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders, policymakers, and the public.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in epidemiology and public health intervention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field; a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and data management tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of biostatistics, epidemiological research methodologies, and public health principles.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data and research findings.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations and familiarity with best practices in public health, informed by the latest peer-reviewed evidence on public health interventions.
