Job Description:

The Software Project Coordinator is a key member of the Embedded Controls team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project design meetings and provide input on project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Attend and participate in software reviews, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct project progress reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Utilize various reporting tools, including Excel, to track project metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Time Management: Manage AOP planning sheets, track actual hours assigned to individual projects, and identify variances.
  • Tracking PO's: Resource Planning, tracking the budget associated with a particular project or resource.
  • Program Reviews: Scheduling meetings, tracking PO's to dollars spent, and evaluating the cost and effectiveness of programs.
  • Time-Keeping: Using Planesfare, a software tool, to track time charging, converting dollars to projects, and producing a monthly report for leadership.
  • Finance Management: Performing behind-the-scenes operations work that supports each program, including scheduling and completion to budget.
Requirements:
  • Project coordination, software development, Excel, project management, embedded software, and SDLC process.
  • Nice to have: HVAC experience.
