Quality Engineer Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer Intern to join our team at Philips. As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sustaining engineering projects to drive cost improvements and maintain product quality.
  • Support production lines to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards for medical devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, validate, and execute inspection methods.
  • Participate in root cause investigations for non-conformance issues and help develop corrective actions.
  • Gain hands-on experience in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting to support quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or similar).
  • Having completed two years toward degree program.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and apply engineering principles.
  • Basic understanding of quality systems and medical device regulations is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience or coursework related to quality engineering or manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $25.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
