Senior Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at LaBella Associates. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in providing tailored services to our municipal and private clients, including redevelopment strategies, community and neighborhood planning, zoning, active transportation, market analysis, sustainability and resilience planning, grant services, and community engagement.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in planning, with a strong understanding of strategic redevelopment planning, land use planning, placemaking, and public outreach. You will be responsible for preparing reports and analyses, leading and participating in public meetings, preparing zoning updates and other development regulations, applying for and administering grants, managing projects, and developing and nurturing client relationships.

Requirements

• Broad understanding of the principles and practices of planning, public outreach, and revitalization.
• Familiarity with grants and funding.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• GIS Mapping.
• Presentation/speaking skills.
• Graphic skills.
• Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn.
• Outgoing personality.
