**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at East Cooper Colorectal Surgery.
**Key Responsibilities**
Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and post charges.
Manage patient balances and ensure accurate and timely billing.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Explain and enroll patients in our patient portal, ensuring they have access to their medical information and can communicate effectively with our team.
**Requirements**
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office assistant program completion preferred.
At least 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting, with a strong understanding of front office processes and procedures.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Healthcare management or administration certification.
**Work Environment**
This is a full-time, day shift position at our East Cooper Colorectal Surgery office in Mount Pleasant, SC.
