Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Credit Quality Analyst to join our team at Canon Recruiting Group. As a key member of our Syndicated & Corporate Lending Credit Fulfillment Team, you will play a critical role in supporting loan booking and closing activities in the Loan IQ system of record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meticulously review and verify loan documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, clients, and other departments, to ensure seamless loan closings.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of loan closings efficiently, utilizing excellent organizational skills.
  • Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in loan documentation, leveraging strong analytical abilities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes related to lending practices, ensuring adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other financial documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and collaborate with underwriters, legal teams, and other departments.
  • Proficiency in loan management software and related tools commonly used in the financial industry.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LoanIQ expertise or similar loan management systems.
  • Degree or experience in banking and/or finance.
  • Loan syndication knowledge and understanding of syndicated lending processes and best practices.
Working Conditions

This role may require occasional exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, as well as the ability to lift up to 30lbs. The successful candidate will also be required to use computers and technology throughout the day.
