About the Position

The Credit Cards Analyst will serve as a key point of contact for credit card-related inquiries. This individual will be responsible for performing credit card maintenance, responding to card research requests, and analyzing monthly credit card reporting. The Credit Cards Analyst will also partner with internal departments to resolve credit card-related issues and assist with identifying potential fraud indicators.

Day-to-Day Work
  1. Complete daily account balancing and reconciliations, researching and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  2. Monitor reporting and generate credit card and payment fraud prevention and analysis reports, focusing on operational and fraud aspects.
  3. Assist in the development and maintenance of credit card policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and advising on necessary changes.
  4. Ensure credit card operations remain compliant with card network and payment processor rules, implementing processes to stay updated on any changes.
  5. Perform research to resolve member and credit card performance issues, making recommendations to increase efficiency and resolve escalated issues.
  6. Partner with internal departments and external vendors to investigate and analyze fraud activities, reviewing reporting and identifying fraud indicators.
  7. Act as the primary chargeback contact for our processor, providing information to credit card chargeback programs.
  8. Monitor vendor efficiency and accuracy, identifying issues with invoicing and making recommendations to improve vendor accuracy.
  9. Support credit card-related initiatives, assisting with internal education and training on credit card products and services.
Job Qualifications

To be qualified for this position, you must have:

  1. Minimum 4-6 years' experience in financial services, payments, or card products.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. A strong service orientation.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet.
  5. Ability to function in a consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment.
  6. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  7. Occasional travel required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 1-3 years' experience supporting card operations initiatives.
  3. Experience in customer service or a related field, with card services preferred.
  4. Knowledge of financial products and services.
