Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Sage Hospitality Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the Restaurant, Room Service, Bar, and catering operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, and financial goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the human resources within the department, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Develop and manage the department's annual budget, business plan, and forecasts to meet/exceed management expectations.
  • Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and sanitary regulations, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Market the Food and Beverage outlets, develop and manage menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within corporate guidelines.
  • Manage the maintenance and sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment to protect the asset and ensure quality service.
  • Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
Qualifications
  • More than two years of post-high school education.
  • One to two years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
  • Excellent comprehension, oral communication, and knowledge of food safety and chemicals/agents.
Physical Demands
  • Excellent vision required for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, and schedules.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes on a daily basis.
  • Continuous standing to assist at the hostess station.
Environment

Inside 95% of the shift. Temperatures can exceed 100 degrees if working at a location with outside dining facilities and when assisting in the kitchen.
