Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant Opportunity

Optum NY, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join our team in Lake Success, NY. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with new and follow-up patient visits during attending office hours
  • Conduct device interrogations and create treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Triage phone calls and arrange for patient follow-up as appropriate
  • Communicate patient care plans with PCPs, cardiologists, and specialists
  • Provide post-procedure wound checks and office visits

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of Physician Assistant experience in Cardiology preferred
  • Master's degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment or possession of a Bachelor's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association-approved physician assistant program
  • Current unrestricted license to practice and use the title of Physician Assistant in NYS
