About the Position

We seek a highly qualified candidate with a strong research agenda and a commitment to teaching and mentoring students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory psychology courses, upper-level courses in their area of specialty, and participate in the rotation of teaching a research methods course. They will also have opportunities to develop courses around interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary interests and contribute to the First Year Seminar program and other interdisciplinary programs at the college.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of psychology courses, including introductory psychology and upper-level courses in the candidate's area of specialty
  • Develop and teach courses around interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary interests
  • Participate in the rotation of teaching a research methods course
  • Contribute to the First Year Seminar program and other interdisciplinary programs at the college

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field and a strong research agenda. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring students, as well as a willingness to contribute to the college's mission of fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
