Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Outpatient Nuclear Medicine Stress Test Technician to work during the day shift.

  • Lovelace Medical Center is a leading acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, offering extensive services such as emergency care, surgical interventions, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke management, radiology, and oncology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists in conducting cardiac procedures and examinations, including stress tests.
  • Oversee and maintain equipment, systems, and supplies for the designated department.
  • Execute complex electrocardiograms as requested by physicians for arrhythmia diagnosis.
  • Utilize MUSE system for data acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval.
  • Provide clerical assistance as needed within assigned departments.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • ACLS certification within six months of employment
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited institution
  • National Certification (RCVT/MA/EMT)
  • Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course
  • Completion of an EKG course
