Stress Test Technician

At Ardent Health, we're seeking a skilled Stress Test Technician to join our team. As a Stress Test Technician, you will assist cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams, including stress tests. You will also maintain and monitor systems, equipment, and supplies for the assigned department.
Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams, including stress tests.
- Maintain and monitor systems, equipment, and supplies for the assigned department.
- Perform complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias.
- Utilize MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval of data.
- May provide clerical support for assigned departments.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma
- One (1) year of related experience in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- CPR
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience in physiology
- Paramedic or EMT, basic Arrhythmia course, and completion of EKG course
- National Certification (RCVT/MA/EMT), Paramedic, or Exercise Physiologist
