Job Description:

Asipaving is seeking a dedicated Yard/Garage Maintenance professional to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining the parking lot and garage areas by performing duties such as:

  • Removing debris and litter
  • Emptying waste receptacles
  • Conducting sweeping and mopping activities
  • Utilizing pressure washing equipment
  • Cleaning windows and mirrors

This role requires a solid understanding of general maintenance practices and experience operating Hi-lo equipment. The working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in general preventative maintenance of facilities
  • Capability to work in various outdoor conditions
  • Proficiency in addressing maintenance issues as they arise
  • Responsible for waste collection and disposal, snow shoveling, and maintaining outside walkways
  • Assisting mechanics in keeping the workshop clean and organized
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
  • Replacing burned-out light bulbs and changing air conditioning filters
  • Performing exterior maintenance tasks including upkeep of gates, parking lots, and fences

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, and the capacity to make routine decisions independently. A strong work ethic and the ability to work harmoniously with others are essential for success in this role.
