About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Engineer to join our team at United Wholesale Mortgage. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring our building automation system, providing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, and ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment is properly installed and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor the building automation system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure a comfortable working environment.
  • Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment is properly installed and maintained to prevent safety hazards and minimize downtime.
  • Inventory critical building maintenance supplies to ensure timely replacement and minimize disruptions.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively to minimize damage and downtime.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a safe and functional work environment.
  • Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including but not limited to bending, lifting, reaching, and pulling of heavy mechanical equipment.
  • Available shifts: 6am-3pm, 11am-8pm, 9pm-6am.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Boiler operations license
  • HVAC refrigerant license
  • Centrifugal Chiller experience
  • Fire panel experience
  • Physical plant experience
  • Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities along with basic computer skills.
  • Sometimes able to work alone responsibly and without supervision.
  • Meet all legal requirements to work in the United States.
