The Accounting Clerk will oversee the management of both receivables and payables, ensuring precision, prompt processing, and adherence to company protocols. Primary Duties:

  • Receivables Management: Execute invoicing through NetSuite and accurately allocate customer payments for B2B and B2C transactions.
  • Reporting & Collections: Generate weekly accounts receivable reports and support collection initiatives to sustain a healthy cash flow.
  • Payables Management: Input accounts payable invoices and assist with weekly check disbursements to guarantee timely and precise payment of outstanding bills.
  • Internal Compliance: Ensure robust internal control measures are upheld and adhered to, in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Engage professionally with clients and internal teams to address inquiries regarding invoices and payment statuses.
  • P-Card Oversight: Collaborate with fellow staff accountants on company P-Card administration tasks, ensuring compliance with policies regarding credit limit adjustments, receipt documentation, and approvals for corporate credit card accounts.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements through automation and standardization.
  • Month-End Support: Assist Senior Accountants with month-end responsibilities as required, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in an accounting capacity.
  • Education: An Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong emphasis on detail and accuracy, with a commitment to data integrity and compliance.
  • Organizational Skills: Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
