Job Summary

The Insurance Vendor Liaison Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring outsourced activities relevant to the revenue cycle for KPI performance at Affordable Care LLC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor outsourced vendor activities to ensure quality, cost, and timeliness of service to practices and corporate.
  • Provide weekly reports of progress on KPIs and issues to manager and vendor.
  • Continuously strive to exceed KPIs and drive efficiency in outsourced processes.
  • Coordinate internal department activities related to RCM activities, which will initially be outsourced.
  • Create presentations to share strategy, metrics, and performance with management and vendor.
  • Interact with the Central Billing Office (RCM team) to handle next steps in AR resolution.
  • Audit and monitor outsourced services to ensure efficiency and adoption by practices.
  • Seek regular feedback relevant to outsourced functions.
  • Monitor outsourced process flows and provide feedback to improve processes and results.
Requirements
  • Ability to interpret and effectively communicate insurance regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate telephone, in-person, and/or web-based training sessions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized, accurate, and thorough.
  • Adaptable and able to manage competing demands.
  • Adept at prioritizing, planning work activities, and developing reasonable action plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
  • Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years commercial insurance or Medicaid experience preferred.
  • Experience in a medical or dental practice preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Proficiency with dental or medical software; Dentrix preferred.
Core Competencies
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • Ability to assess development needs of affiliated auxiliary practice staff.
  • Knowledgeable in creating and presenting training course material.
  • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, analysis, critical thinking, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and oral & written communication.
