Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the perioperative setting, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana or compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
