This role is eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus.
The Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for a wide range of predictive, preventive, and routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Operates or monitors all basic machine shop equipment to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
- Conducts preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Dismantles equipment to access and replace faulty components.
- Evaluates used parts to assess changes in specifications.
- Adjusts operational parts of machinery and control instruments.
- Repairs or substitutes defective components. Installs specialized functional and structural parts in machinery. Lubricates and cleans components.
- Tests machinery performance after repairs.
- Sets up and operates lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking equipment to fabricate and repair components.
- Initiates purchase orders for necessary parts and machinery.
- Plans and organizes operations to assist in electrical panel assembly, providing input on controls, I/O, and panel configuration.
- Collaborates with the engineering team to enhance the design, structure, and execution of automation initiatives.
- Repairs electrical systems.
- Maintains a tidy work environment and ensures cleanup after maintenance tasks.
- Follows all established safety protocols and procedures.
- Participates in Project Improvement Teams.
- Welds and fabricates as required to repair or create equipment or workstation components.
- Installs complex machinery and equipment, ensuring precise alignment of machinery, lathes, mills, and presses.
- Conducts inspections as necessary.
- Utilizes overhead lifts for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Operates industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in the movement of materials and products.
- Implements lockout/tagout procedures and adheres to ARC flash safety standards.
- Submits daily shift reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- At least two years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in machine repair, PLCs, automation, and robotics.
- A collaborative team player with a focus on customer service and safety.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
