Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at Dayton Freight. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services on our trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on trailers, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with trailer components, such as suspension, running gear, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Work with the Parts Department to ensure that all necessary materials and parts are available for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to pass a drug screen.
