About the Role

IA Interior Architects is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our Dallas studio. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading all design phases for interiors projects, establishing the vision, leading the team, and interacting extensively with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Assist in overall technical design for projects, direct staff to complete design and technical drawing, and review design and technical drawing of other designers.
  • Design Development: Review engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solutions, work with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings, and aid in the creation of floor plans, elevations, architectural and millwork details, and overall design intent sets.
  • Project Management: Review and redline construction documents, shop drawings, and related submittals, produce, review, and finalize space plans for projects, and manage overall design budget.
  • Client Interaction: Organize and conduct client interviews to determine space needs and requirements, provide needed information to clients on design specifications, and ensure adherence to set budget and inform PM and/or client of any potential variances.
  • Team Management: Manage the work of other designers, oversee tasks, and provide feedback on work product.
Requirements
  • Graduate of architecture school or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in corporate or workplace design projects preferred.
  • Strong Revit skills.
