About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Executive Director to lead our West Kentucky Chapter. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with community stakeholders, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve our mission, and overseeing the delivery of humanitarian services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to increase community awareness and engagement with the American Red Cross.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local government officials, business leaders, and community organizations to advance our mission.
  • Oversee the management of our West Kentucky Chapter, including budgeting, staffing, and volunteer engagement.
  • Collaborate with regional and national teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of our services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and fundraising efforts in the Western Kentucky market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in non-profit management, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and fundraising skills.
