About the Role
We're currently seeking a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our Henrico, VA team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for operating directional bore equipment and assisting foremen with various duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate directional bore equipment for underground utility construction.
- Assist foremen and supervisors with all duties, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Operate trenchers, plows, backhoes, and bobcats as needed to support field operations.
- Maintain proficiency in operating tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws when required.
- Collaborate with field crews to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) is highly preferred.
- Meet all DOT requirements, including physical and drug testing.
- Prior experience in underground utility installations is essential.
- Candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, follow job specifications, and provide excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions from supervisors.
- Travel may be required; candidates with willingness to do so are preferred.
Estimated Salary Range: $25-$28 per hour, dependent on applicable experience and certifications.
