Job Summary:

The Medical Office Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. This individual will embody warmth, friendliness, and engagement while maintaining professionalism, respect, and courtesy.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule new patients for initial evaluations in physical therapy, providing exceptional customer service through multiple phone lines.
  • Maintain and update information on providers' schedules, ensuring accuracy of patient data entered in the EMR system.
  • Assist with Check-in/Check-out duties as needed, supporting a high-volume practice.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an outpatient medical office setting.
  • Professionalism and exceptional phone etiquette, ability to handle a heavy phone call volume.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, previous experience with EMR systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility, strong critical thinking skills for cross-referencing provider schedules.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, employee discounts, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
