As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing high-quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and adjust all equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
- Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
- Perform routine and complex studies and assist physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
- Previous experience required.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registry Eligible Medical Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registry or registry eligible required.
