Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. You will also be responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams and produce technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
- Position patients and equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Process and transmit Images to PACS.
Qualifications:
- RDMS (ARDMS) or RVT (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
- Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- Proficient computer skills.
La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $39.27. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
