We're currently seeking a skilled Welder 3rd Shift to join our Columbus facility and contribute to the fabrication of steel electrical poles, substations, and other structures.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic role that requires versatility, attention to detail, and knowledge of welding procedures. You will be responsible for fabricating or repairing metal components according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders. Your adaptability, teamwork spirit, and commitment to quality make you an excellent candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate or repair metal components using MIG welding, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Work from blueprints and layouts to accurately fit structural parts together, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Lay out guidelines or marks on metal parts and cut them with a cutting torch, applying expertise and attention to detail.
  • Weld metal structural components together, achieving strong bonds and precise joints.
  • Adjust welding equipment to prescribed settings, optimizing performance and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • 6+ months of experience welding in a professional setting.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, or graduation from an accredited trade school for welding.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
