Job Description:
The General Construction Supervisor is a pivotal role that oversees the daily operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. This position requires a skilled professional with extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring work is progressing on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
• Ensure adherence to legal and safety requirements, minimizing risks on the project.
• Maintain constant communication with project managers, reporting on progress, risks, and adjustments needed.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring availability and timely delivery.
• Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure standards and specifications are met.
• Prepare and submit project reports and documentation.
• Train and mentor construction workers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a minimum of 5+ years in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction operations, including equipment, materials, manpower, and overall project management.
• Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
