Job Description

ISET Pathway is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated K-12 English Language Arts Educator to join our dynamic team in fostering a love for reading and writing among our students. Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging English Language Arts curriculum aligned with state standards for K-12 students, incorporating diverse teaching methods and technologies.
  • Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters open communication, respect, and a love for learning.
  • Teaching Strategies: Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students have access to a high-quality education.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to cultivate a holistic educational experience, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification: Valid state teaching certification in K-12 English Language Arts.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an English Language Arts teacher in a K-12 setting.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom culture.
