Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at InnovAge. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our programs reach by cultivating community referrals within your territory, providing education of PACE services, and enrolling eligible participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to exceed monthly enrollment quotas (minimum 6 enrollments/month) in your assigned territory.
  • Cultivate Community Referrals: Cultivate strong relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, inpatient/outpatient healthcare settings, independent living communities, government entities, faith-based groups, and community resources.
  • Prospect New Account Opportunities: Prospect new account opportunities based on research and receive communication from call center, broker, and/or other Outreach Specialist to handoff complex leads requiring further qualification.
  • Identify and Align PACE Services: Identify populations of Medicaid, Medicare, Dual Eligible, VA, and Private Pay individuals and strategically align InnovAge PACE services within their communities through referral channels.
  • Increase Account Volume: Increase the account volume of referral sources in your assigned territories, as well as referral volume through strategic account management and follow up to meet and exceed assigned minimum performance and activity expectations.
  • Conduct Effective Presentations: Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to referral sources and prospective participants.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up in the MS Dynamics CRM.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years of proven successful healthcare-focused sales and marketing experience in both B2B and B2C settings, including Medicare Advantage plans, Managed Care Medicaid plans, and Veterans Administration health benefits.
  • Strong Relationship Building: Demonstrable experience building and executing a marketing/sales plan with a proven track record of creating strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Effective Presentation Skills: Demonstrable experience in creating and conducting effective presentations.
  • CRM Skills: Skilled in using CRM database to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, human services, or a related field from an accredited college/university or applicable experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Driver's License: Requires a state-issued driver's license, personal transportation, good driving record, and auto insurance as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Bi-lingual.
  • Existing Book of Business: Existing book of business/contacts/referrals in post-acute and senior care settings.
  • Mobile Technology: Familiarity and comfort in a mobile technology-driven environment.
