RN Manager Emergency Room FT Days

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to lead our Emergency Department team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain throughput within the department, focusing on discharge length of stay and implementing strategies to improve overall metrics.
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to provide exceptional patient care.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, promote a positive work environment, and effectively balance Just Culture.
- Support staff in direct patient care roles, including Trauma and Clinical Lead positions, and implement interventions to meet productivity targets and control expenses.
- Oversee training and maintain records of competencies for individual staff members.
- Participate in hospital-wide committees focused on Sepsis, Fall Risk, and Patient Experience.
- Manage staff performance and behavior, including constructive feedback, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
- Valid and current Arizona RN License or compact state license with the ability to become licensed in Arizona within 30 days.
- BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), and TNCC (Preferred or Obtain within 6 months of starting).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years as a Licensed RN with at least 2 years in an emergency/critical care setting and 1 year in a leadership role as an RN.
Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital is a 486-bed premier medical campus, designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. We provide high-quality, specialized care in programs such as trauma and emergency medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, and women's services.
Our Emergency Center is a 38-bed Unit, offering flexible scheduling, opportunities for interdepartmental and professional growth, encouragement for staff engagement, educational offerings, and a supportive environment.
