Lead a High-Performing Emergency Department Team
Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
About the Role
- Oversee the management of the Emergency Department, including staff supervision, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and departmental productivity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient departmental operations.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and other support personnel.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- Current Arizona RN license or compact state license with the ability to become licensed in Arizona within 30 days.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a licensed RN, with at least 2 years in an emergency/critical care setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role as an RN.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
