Job Overview:
As a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft through meticulous inspection and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of aircraft components and associated equipment to ensure structural soundness using advanced nondestructive testing techniques.
- Analyze wear metal content in engine lubricating oils and other fluids, providing actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
- Determine appropriate testing methodologies and prepare fluids and components for thorough nondestructive examination.
- Execute nondestructive inspections on various structures, components, and systems, identifying defects such as cracks, delamination, voids, and other processing anomalies using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic testing equipment.
- Interpret inspection results and relay defect information to the repair center for further action.
- Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a USAF skill level equivalent to seven (7) with military experience in aircraft clearance for flight discrepancies, along with 4 years of relevant experience on F-16 aircraft.
- Proficiency in inspecting aircraft components using Radiographic, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant techniques is essential.
- Experience in analyzing engine oil samples for trace elements, both on and off aircraft, is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory.
- All instructors must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security clearance prior to employment, with the ability to secure a final secret clearance thereafter.
- All necessary instructor, technical, and skills certifications must be completed before employment commencement.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with international personnel and documented instructional experience is highly valued.
- Preference will be given to candidates with F-16 Block 40 or higher experience.
- Additional experience in areas such as shop/flight line setup, debriefing, field training detachments, technical order library maintenance, quality assurance, or modification teams will be considered advantageous.

Security Clearance Requirement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.
