About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team at Sky Jet Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct regular inspections, identify and repair discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes.
  • Conduct Mechanic Repairs: Demonstrate expertise in repairing and maintaining aircraft systems, including engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance records are kept in line with company policies and FAA requirements.
  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage Supplies and Inventory: Take inventory, place authorized orders, and confirm deliveries of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Handle Aircraft Receiving and Refueling: Ensure the safe and efficient handling of aircraft receiving, refueling, parking, and securing.
  • Utilize Problem-Solving Skills: Effectively utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Work Under Supervision: Work under the guidance of Level II or III mechanics or Assistant Supervisor, as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
  • A&P Certificates: Hold valid A&P certificates, demonstrating expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift and carry 70 lbs from floor to waist level or higher on a continuous basis, perform repetitive tasks and motions, and withstand extreme outdoor weather conditions.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors.
  • 1-Year Commitment: Commit to a 1-year term, demonstrating a long-term commitment to the role and the company.
