Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Beacon Hill in Newark, DE.

Job Summary

This role involves providing financial expertise and support to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting functions.

About the Role
  • Manage daily tasks for the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and resolve discrepancies, implementing process improvements where necessary.
  • Prepare closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Produce and report comprehensive financial statements with detailed analysis, providing insights for informed business decisions.
  • Assist with budgeting and cash management activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and minimizing financial risks.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the accounting team, working collaboratively with minimal supervision to achieve shared goals.
  • Prepare schedules and analyses, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support auditing processes to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Previous public accounting experience is also advantageous.
