About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Foreman to join our team at Fiore & Sons Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction sites, supervising on-site employees, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of on-site employees, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with project specifications and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily and weekly reports, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed to the required standards and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy construction, including experience in supervisory or management roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
