Overview:

At Novant Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist II, you will work independently and/or assist physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inpatient & outpatient procedures, the emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and the operating rooms. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
  • Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
  • 2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required
  • Applicable state licensure as required, required
Responsibilities:

As a Radiology Technologist II, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing patients for diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
  • Operating x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images
  • Assisting physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
  • Providing exceptional patient care and service
