Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist II to join our team at Novant Health. This role involves working independently and/or assisting physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting.
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures, including emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms.
  • Ensure proper equipment performance and schedule maintenance for emergent needs.
  • Properly operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including intraoperative and mobile procedures.
  • Assist licensed practitioners in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program with certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) and applicable state licensure, required.
  • Knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws and principles of ALARA.
