Job Title: Health Center Manager

QuadMed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Center Manager to lead our team at the Dow Health Center in Lake Jackson, TX.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to manage the clinical operations of a single site or multiple centers, focusing on prevention and wellness to coordinate patient care in a health and wellness center setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage health and wellness center operations, fostering teamwork and facilitating meetings as needed.
  • Lead Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, allied health staff, and Clinic Supervisors, overseeing talent acquisition, employee development, employee relations, scheduling, training, onboarding, staff communication, and performance management.
  • Work closely with Operations Manager, internal departments, and HWC staff to deliver quality patient care aligned with client service contracts.
  • Communicate and ensure HWC operates using current standardized workflows, SOPs, policies, and best practices.
  • Monitor health and wellness center environment and resolve complex or systemic issues, escalating as needed.
  • Compile input and administer staff performance appraisals for direct reports, partnering with Medical Directors and others during the performance appraisal process.
  • Complete incident investigations, carry out mitigating measures, and inform other departments as needed.
  • Manage metrics, facility, and labor checklist completion, understanding and complying with regulatory, procedural, and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee AAAHC HWC compliance, actively participating in audits and surveys, and preparation.
  • Serve on internal committees and special initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain EHR Super User status, providing Super User support to HWC team and others as needed.
  • Travel may be required, and work in the clinic as needed, performing daily front office and receptionist functions, as required.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing, or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing, or a closely related field preferred.
  • At least three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with direct reports.
  • Familiarity with practice management software and electronic medical records strongly preferred.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Current and valid license in the state of the position or compact state license for those with a nursing degree.

  • Must have a proven track record of being self-motivated and successfully managing multiple projects within deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
