Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of our software solutions.
  • Develop and implement testing methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of SwA tools and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to define remediation strategies and provide recommendations for software development.
  • Design and test source code SwA analysis processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Interpret and prioritize SwA tool results to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python to develop and implement SwA tools and analysis processes.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and briefings to stakeholders on software assurance issues and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years of experience in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses.
  • 3 years of experience designing and testing SwA analysis processes.
  • 3 years of experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA tool results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
  • 3 years of experience programming in Python or other scripting languages.
  • 5 years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues.
  • 2 years of experience performing statistical analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technologies such as Klockwork, CodePeer, Fortran-Lint, CodeSonar, Security Fortify, IDA Pro, and MATLAB.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
