Job Summary

Brosnan Risk Consultants is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team in a Flex position. As a Flex Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts and locations, providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.
  • Make periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
  • Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for the site, including personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Control access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process.
  • Patrol assigned sites on foot or in vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, and security violations.
  • Protect evidence or scenes of incidents in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
  • Respond to fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
  • Prepare logs and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Valid Guard Card
  • Proof of successful completion of Power to Arrest Training and 32-hour training in security officer skills (California only)
  • Annual 8-hour Continued Education Requirement (California only)
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable means of communication (e.g., cell or home phone)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
Compensation

Minimum hourly rate: $22.00
