The Culinary Specialist plays a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that each dish is crafted to perfection, creating a memorable and Instagram-worthy dining experience that keeps guests returning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dishes according to the specifications provided by the Chef and Sous Chefs.
  • Execute all menu items proficiently for assigned stations.
  • Understand and adhere to safety and emergency protocols.
  • Read and interpret food tickets accurately.
  • Utilize standardized recipe cards and plating guides effectively.
  • Consistently prepare food products to meet our quality standards, ensuring positive guest feedback.
  • Maintain timely order delivery from the kitchen to the dining area.
  • Complete all assigned tasks before leaving for the day and communicate with the Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
  • Ensure daily cleaning and organizational standards are upheld in all areas.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment as per Health Department regulations.
  • Assist fellow kitchen staff with cleaning, cooking, prepping, and receiving as needed.
  • Follow all health department sanitation requirements while performing duties.
  • Approach all tasks with enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant is preferred.
  • Ability to engage with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Capability to stand and move efficiently for up to 8 hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Availability to work 8+ hours per day.
