Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler System Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Install, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems
    • Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems
  • Inspections and Testing
    • Conduct inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code
    • Test and repair alarm systems already in place
  • Customer Service
    • Interact with customers in a mature and professional manner
    • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and report results of work completed in an accurate, timely manner
  • Physical Requirements
    • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures
    • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred
    • Experience with commercial and residential systems
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
