Hardware Store Operations Manager

Westlake Hardware, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Supervisor Store 65 to manage overall store operations and assume primary responsibility for store operations in the absence of the General Manager and/or Assistant Managers.
About UsAce Retail Holdings, the division of Ace Hardware Corporation that owns and operates the Westlake Ace Hardware chain, is one of the largest hardware retailers in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience, preferably in hardware sales. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading by example, managing all aspects of store operations, and ensuring a positive, professional, and safe work environment for all associates.

Duties & Responsibilities- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively assist customers in finding products and solving problems.
- Store Operations:
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and loss prevention.
- Assist with the implementation of company programs and policies.
- Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Participate in store meetings and contribute to team discussions.
- Inventory & Merchandising:
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise to ensure optimal display and accessibility.
- Maintain back stock levels and perform cycle counts as necessary.
- Present a clean and organized sales floor, including end caps and promotional displays.
- Leadership:
- Lead by example, demonstrating our Core Values: Service, Passion, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
- Train and develop team members to achieve company goals and objectives.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; prior retail management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
