The HR Advisor plays a crucial role in fostering and maintaining robust partnerships with management and leadership while overseeing the human resources operations for the designated location.
This position utilizes HR knowledge and experience to provide insightful guidance and collaborative support, driving innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
In collaboration with the HR Business Partner, this role aids in the formulation and implementation of project strategies and the delivery of HR services that align with organizational goals, encompassing areas such as:
- Talent Acquisition: Develops and executes strategies to ensure the selection of suitable talent to fulfill business requirements.
- Employee Development: Facilitates associate growth through performance management and training initiatives.
- Workforce Planning: Analyzes staffing needs and implements recruitment strategies in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Diversity Initiatives: Supports efforts to promote an inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocates for the HR function by fostering collaborative relationships across the organization, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Implements localized recruitment strategies and collaborates with operations supervisors in the hiring process.
- Provides strategic consultation to management, ensuring adherence to HR policies and recommending improvements based on organizational data.
- Encourages professional development by soliciting feedback and fostering open communication among associates.
- Collaborates with leadership and HR teams to address performance issues and recommend solutions.
- Partners with supervisors to align business strategies with people strategies, enhancing organizational performance.
- Manages delegated tasks to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.
Administrative Duties
In the absence of the HR Coordinator, the HR Advisor may also handle administrative responsibilities, including:
- Managing HR-related expenses and ensuring accurate financial records.
- Supporting worker compensation claims and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Driving associate engagement through participation in surveys and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4 years of experience in a Human Resources capacity.
- 4 years of experience managing confidential personnel information.
- 3 years of experience in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience in supply chain, contact center, or retail settings.
