Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer to join our team at the United States Fleet Forces Command. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians to deliver innovative solutions for ship repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver innovative solutions for ship repair and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement engineering plans and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of naval ships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Must have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as experience with project management and team leadership.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
