The Obstetrics Department at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to enhance our team. The successful candidate will deliver both direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to devise and execute patient care strategies, which include education and care planning for patients and their families. Excellent communication skills are crucial, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care tailored to patient requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Develop, assess, modify, and adhere to patient care plans
  • Administer medications and medical treatments
  • Accurately document patient care activities
  • Utilize computer systems and medical devices in patient care
  • Educate patients and their families
  • Comply with nursing standards of practice
  • Follow organizational guidelines and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in TN or a compact state
  • BLS certification required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course completion
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NRP certification
