About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Live Nation Entertainment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Cultivate regular guests and encourage repeat business through exceptional service and personalized interactions.
  • Suggestively sell beverages and menu items to guests at the bar, promoting our premium offerings and increasing revenue.
  • Deliver beverage orders promptly and efficiently, prioritizing and organizing drink orders to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, adhering to all control systems and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Record any equipment failure or safety hazards in the bar log, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Recognize when guests are becoming intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and Company alcohol policies.
  • Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age, verifying age and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to Company policy, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Prepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according to Company policy, maintaining accurate records and handling cash transactions with precision.
  • Maintain bartender bank, performing cash pull and check-out procedures as required.
  • Maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checks, ensuring accurate records and compliance with Company policies.
  • Occasionally work Special Events scheduled throughout the venue, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements
  • Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule, and cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
  • Able to pass bar test, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms, embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity.
  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent, ensuring compliance with regulations and Company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of work experience in high-volume environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Experience recognizing valid IDs, verifying age and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Experience in a live music environment, familiar with the unique demands and challenges of this setting.
